Traffic chaos as crashes shut parts of M25 and M1 on London’s outskirts

M25 M1 St Albans

Parts of the M25 and M1 near St Albans were shut for several hours this morning following collisions, causing long delays for motorists.

The M25 was closed anti-clockwise between junctions 23 (South Mimms) and 22 (St Albans) following an incident shortly after 6.30am.
