New footage from TMZ appears to show the altercation between Jordan Poole and Draymond Green from a recent Warriors practice. The video shows a shove quickly escalates into a violent punch thrown by Green. (Content warning: video may be upsetting to some.)
Already Green is facing potential punishment from Golden State. In 2017, Bobby Portis was suspended eight games for punching teammate Nikola Mirotic during a similar preseason altercation. The publicity of the Green-Poole video could be a complicating factor, however.
According to prior reporting, Green has already issued an internal apology for his role in the scuffle. Golden State’s next preseason game will be against the Lakers on Oct. 9.
