Trae Young and New York Knicks fans haven’t exactly seen eye to eye after last season’s playoff series in which Madison Square Garden die-hards chanted insults and someone spat at the Atlanta Hawks guard.
So of course when Young played in MSG on Tuesday night, he made sure to put up HUGE numbers … and to rip on fans.
Let’s start with the stats: He poured in 45 points and eight dimes, hitting 7-of-15 from distance and 13-of-25 from the floor. The Hawks took down the hapless Knicks 117-111 in the process.
