New Delhi: Traders' body CAIT on Friday denied reports that it had called for a nationwide "No UPI Day" on October 2, describing such reports as factually incorrect and misleading.
The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) said it has taken serious note of certain media reports and social media posts claiming that CAIT has announced or endorsed a nationwide "No UPI Day" on October 2, related to the proposed MDR levy on specified UPI transactions above Rs 2,000 from October 15.
