Towie star Yazmin Oukhellou has been pictured with her arm in sling as she returns home following a horror car crash in Turkey. The reality TV star landed back in the UK after being discharged from hospital where she underwent surgery due to her arm being seriously injured.
Medics reportedly told the 28-year-old that she's lucky to have survived. In pictures obtained by Mail Online, Yazmin was seen for the first time since arriving back into the UK. Yazmin was pictured leaving her Essex home on Thursday with her mum Lisa, with her broken arm in a sling.
Her ex Jake McLean, 33, tragically died when their Mercedes car overturned after plunging 30ft into a ditch in the holiday resort of Bodrum at 4.30am in the morning, writes The Mirror.
Yaz has reportedly been desperate to get back to the UK to be with her loved ones, with her arrival in London coming two weeks after the crash.
The social media star is said to have pulled herself from the overturned Mercedes car with a bleeding arm to get help, climbing through 'thorny bushes' and up a steep bank to wave down passing cars nearby, according to an official who told MailOnline.
She reportedly cried "help me, help me, my friend is dead".
A man then pulled over to help Yazmin and called emergency services. Mercy crews rushed to the scene but they were unable to save Jake, while Yazmin was rushed to hospital, suffering from serious arm injuries.
"Doctors have told Yazmin that she is very, very lucky to have walked away from this," a source close to Yazmin told MailOnline.
They added: "Yaz is unable to feel any sense of relief because her heart has been ripped in two over Jake's death. She still can't come to terms with what has happened."
Yaz and Jake were first romantically involved in 2019 after she split from James Lock. But, the pair cooled things off and Yaz got back with Lockie. However, when Yaz and James ended things for good last year, she and Jake got back in touch.
It was reported she moved from Essex to Dubai to be with him before she confirmed their romance in December.
Jake, meanwhile, had a four year relationship with TOWIE star Lauren Goodger, with tributes pouring in to the businessman from reality stars following his death.
