Yazmin Oukhellou has denied alcohol was involved in the horror crash which left her with serious injuries and resulted in the death of on-off boyfriend Jake McLean.
The TOWIE star, 28, has also squashed rumours she and Jake had been arguing prior to their car veering off a cliff in Turkey earlier this month.
The reality TV star, 28, arrived back in the UK earlier this week after being discharged from hospital after undergoing surgery due to her arm being seriously injured.
Doctors told Yazmin she was 'lucky' to have survived the horrific crash which saw Jake pronounced dead at the scene on Sunday July 3.
Speaking for the first time publicly for the first time since the horrific experience, Yazmin has revealed she was forced to snap her own arm to escape the car, and paid tribute to Jake - recalling loving him "so hard" and their plans to reconcile.
Regarding speculation the pair had been rowing prior to the crash, Yazmin told The Sun : "I’ve heard rumours we were arguing and things like that, but I couldn’t have wished for a more perfect situation for me and him."
She went on to add: "The police out there did a two-hour interview with me. They investigated the skid marks on the road.
"As far as I’m aware, the police report said the accident was really down to speeding. He took the corner too fast. Instead of going round the bend we went over."
Jake, 33, tragically died when their Mercedes car overturned after plunging 30ft into a ditch in the holiday resort of Bodrum at 4.30am in the morning.
"It was lay there and bleed to death, or snap my own arm to try to save us," Yazmin has recalled upon returning home to the U.K.
The reality TV star and Jake - who previously dated Lauren Goodger - are believed to have first become a couple in May last year, with Yazmin confirming their relationship on Instagram the following December before splitting shortly after.
But speaking in her first interview following Jake's tragic death, Yazmin has confessed the pair were "off" when she visited Turkey but had planned to reconcile.
"Jake is the only person I have ever felt a love like that for and I think for me it’s going to be very, very difficult to get over this," the star explained.
"This will stay with me for life. But for me, I loved him so hard and that’s why I travelled across the world to be with him."
Speaking about her current wellbeing, Yazmin says it will be a while before she is able to return to work and is "very up and down" with grief.
She added that she wants to focus on "getting well again" and dealing with the horrific experience.
