Elma Pazar has heaped praise on TOWIE co-star Diags as fans continue to hope the pair will eventually become an item.
The 29-year-old lash technician joined the cast of the popular ITVBe reality series earlier this year and rumours immediately surfaced surrounding a potential romantic link.
However, the former Love Islander admits their pairing couldn't blossom initially despite fans on social media urging them to link up as she was involved in an on-off relationship off-screen.
Now, though, she simply thinks Diags, whose real name is James Bennewith, doesn't love her like she loves him - but she refused to rule out a potential future dalliance.
Speaking to The Mirror, Elma said: "There's always been like this, I don't know how to explain it; it's always been like this [the flirting]. I can't help it. It's just this constant flirting.
"I find him absolutely hilarious. You know what it's like with funny people. Diags is the full package. He's great. He's so funny, he's nice and he's hardworking."
Despite the huge compliments, the brunette star continued: "I just feel like it's me that's in love with him and not him in love with me. I think that's the bottom line of it, so I think nothing will probably happen."
The bubbly beauty joked that her potential suitor "probably couldn't be bothered" with a relationship with her as she is "100 miles an hour".
Elma also described herself as "very erratic" and believes that might make him think he couldn't deal with her. However, the Essex-native did seemingly leave the door ajar, saying: "You'd have to see."
Diags has also previously hinted he'd be up for a relationship with his pal and revealed in June he'd potentially be ready to settle down.
Speaking about their friendship after she joined the cast of the reality show and headed to the Dominican Republic for filming, he said: "Elma is lovely. I love her. I have known her a long time.
"I’m probably friend zoned but things can change when you’re in paradise. Pina coladas - palm trees - paradise..."
If a match-up with Diags doesn't come to fruition though, Elma has ruled out following in Adam Collard's footsteps and returning to the Love Island villa for a second stint.
She was a bombshell arrival in series five of the dating show in 2019 before being voted off after just a week. But that was enough time to realise she doesn't have unfinished business with the show and is much more suited to Essex.
"I am Essex," she joked. "I can say I'm not but I am. So for me, that [TOWIE] is my lifestyle and is more suitable for me whereas when you're thrown into a villa where we are all from different parts of the UK and we're all very different, sometimes you'd say something that won't necessarily go down well."
