A Scottish tour group has urged tourists coming to Scotland to only accept polymer notes when exchanging their money.
The Little Scottish Treasures, Magical Tours group posted the advice online after some of their clients received paper notes and found it difficult to use them.
Paper notes have been phased out of circulation in the UK from 2016 onwards, with £20 and £50 paper notes currently going out of circulation in September.
