After Tottenham slipped up with a flat display against Brighton last weekend, Antonio Conte made one change for today’s trip to Brentford.
Conte has largely stuck with the same formula since February, but Ryan Sessegnon is a selected as an alternative to Sergio Reguilon at left wing-back. The former Fulham man has spent a long time out injured but is chosen from the off for what is a crucial game.
With Arsenal beating Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium earlier on Saturday, the pressure is on Spurs. Anything less than a win would leave Mikel Arteta’s side in the driving seat in the race to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Fortunately, Tottenham have no new injury concerns but Matt Doherty, Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga remain out.
Spurs starting XI (3-4-3): Lloris; Romero, Dier, Davies; Emerson, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Reguilon; Kulusevski, Son, Kane.
Where: Griffin Park, London
When: Saturday, April 23, 17.30
