Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus are ‘very close’ to agreeing a deal for Dejan Kulusevski, according to reports. The Sweden international has spent the last 18 months in north London on loan from the Italian giants, scoring seven goals and assisting a further 16.
football.london reported last month that Spurs expected Kulusevski to still be their player for next season and it has now emerged that the north Londoners will pay €30million (£25.5million) for the 23-year-old, plus the €10million (£8.7million) loan fee paid in 2022.
That's according to Gianluca Di Marzio, who has confirmed the two clubs are 'very close' to agreeing the final details on the deal. The report from Italy has been followed by further details over Kulusevski's contract deals via Fabrizio Romano.
The transfer expert has claimed the winger will sign a deal until 2027, meaning he will be 27 when his contract comes to an end. The deal will be Ange Postecoglou's first official signing after becoming the new permanent manager at Hotspur Way.
Spurs' £25.5million move is slightly lower than the deal pre-agreed with Juventus 18 months ago. Kulusevski's move would have become permanent if certain sporting goals were achieved last season, including qualification for the Champions League.
However, Spurs finished eighth in the Premier League, missing out on European football altogether as a result.

Kulusevski was a key player in the Lilywhites' top four finish in 2022 under Antonio Conte. He scored five goals and assisted a further eight in 18 Premier League games but he managed only two goals last term.
“It’s been tough,” said the youngster in an interview with Tottenham's official website. “I was very disappointed with my performances in recent months, I learnt a lot. I still have a lot of growth to do and you can’t be too hard on yourself.
“This season, there’s been a lot of ups and downs, it’s been hard but I always have to perform no matter what the situation is. Other teams know how the team plays and about how I play, so we have to adapt, change things and find solutions to get better because it’s been difficult.
“Even if you win or lose, you have to just think about the process and not get too attached to results, keep doing what you can and always do the right things even if you lose. You have to accept it as a footballer, you can’t always win and play well but I’m feeling very good mentally and physically."
