Tottenham transfer news and rumours: Zaniolo deal agreed, Skriniar hope and Kudus scouted

Tottenham have been one of the busier teams in this summer’s transfer window, and remain active with a month still to run.

Antonio Conte remains on the hunt for a creative midfielder, with Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo heavily linked, and will not rule out a move for a second centre-back arrival.

Paris Saint-Germain pair Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni continue to be of interest, while a new name from Ajax has reportedly been extensively scouted.

Here’s the latest transfer news and rumours involving Spurs...

Nicolo Zaniolo

A transfer to the Premier League is on Nicolo Zaniolo’s agenda this summer.

That is according to transfer journalist Ben Jacobs, who reports on fresh talks between Roma and Spurs in the coming days.

The Italian side are ready to cash in on their academy graduate with Juventus also in the mix, but this latest claim appears to indicate Spurs leading the race to sign him.

Milan Skriniar

Tottenham continue to be in the frame to sign Inter Milan centre-back Milan Skriniar, claim CBS Sports.

Both Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea have also been linked with the defender, who is expected to command a fee of around £60million.

Antonio Conte wants another new centre-back, having signed Clement Lenglet on loan from Barcelona, with both Skriniar and his Inter team-mate Alessandro Bastoni high up his transfer wishlist.

Mohammed Kudus

Tottenham are interested in Ajax youngster Mohammed Kudus, reports GhanaWeb.

The club have been scouting the 21-year-old attacking midfielder for six months and could make a move during the summer window.

Kudus, who Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag once described as having "incredible potential", recently scored in the Eredivisie season curtain-raiser against PSV.

He continues to shine for Ghana, making 15 appearances.
