Harry Kane is close to becoming Tottenham Hotspur's all-time top goalscorer after netting against Wolves. Antonio Conte led the north Londoners to a 1-0 win over Bruno Lage's side to continue an unbeaten start to the Premier League season.
The 29-year-old, who sees his contract at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium expire in 2024, scored his 250th goal for Spurs and is now just 16 behind Jimmy Greaves. Kane's efforts also saw him become the highest scoring player for one club in Premier League history, surpassing Sergio Aguero (184) to claim top spot.
Wayne Rooney sits third, Thierry Henry is fourth and Alan Shearer is fifth. However, the England international is still some way off becoming the league's all-time undisputed top goalscorer. In a weekend of landmarks, Kane's goal against Wolves was also Tottenham's 1000th Premier League home goal.
