Tottenham tipped to sign 6 players in January transfer window including Maguire and Mac Allister

Spurs enjoyed one of their best ever starts to a Premier League season, with Antonio Conte continuing his brilliant start to life in North London.

However, things have slowed in recent months, with injuries to attacking players in particular impacting upon his side's league form. The January transfer window could be a chance to revitalise the squad ahead of a push in the second half of the season and Conte is believed to be pushing Daniel Levy and Director of Footbal Fabio Paratici for their help in the market.

Spurs have already spent over £150 million pounds since Conte's arrival, with moves for Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur to help Conte achieve his goals. This could be added to this month, with many names in the running for a move to North London.

Here, we take a look at some of the names who have been tipped by the bookies to join Spurs this winter.

All odds via Sky Bet and correct at time of publication.

Ismaila Sarr - 10/1

The Watford winger was the match winner as Watford beat Norwich in the Championship last weekend and has consistently impressed during his time in England.

The 24-year-old is a lightning winger and has shown his ability to play Premier League football in the past with some great performances. He can struggle for consistency, but with Spurs attacking injuries this season could represent a cheap option to reinforce the attack.

Sofyan Amrabat - 10/1

Another of Morocco's World Cup stars, the Fiorentina midfielder caught the eye with his tireless performances in Qatar. He could be brought in to provide support in midfield for Spurs but they could face strong competition from the likes of Newcastle and Liverpool.

However, there may be areas which appear to need strengthening more in the short term and this could be more of an outside bet with Spurs having spent £25 million on a similar player Yves Bissouma in the summer.

Harry Maguire - 12/1

The Manchester United captain has struggled for consistent minutes this season following the arrival of Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford and could be set for a move away this January. He impressed at the World Cup to demonstrate that there are quality performances still to come from the 29-year-old.

Aston Villa, Newcastle, Leicester and West Ham are all being linked with Maguire for what could amount to either a loan or permanent deal. Spurs could also lodge a bid due to his past performances playing on the left hand side within a three-man central defensive unit which Conte prefers.

Alexis Mac Allister - 12/1

Another player who has had their reputation enhanced by the World Cup, the Brighton midfielder was a starter as Argentina won the tournament in Qatar and will be the subject of lots of interest in this winter's transfer widow.

Spurs are not one of the leading names linked to the versatile attacking midfielder, with PSG, Juventus and Chelsea all appearing to have a stronger chance. However, with Spurs in need of more creativity in midfield then a short relocation from the south coast to north London could be on the cards for the former Boca Juniors man.

Leandro Trossard - 12/1

The Brighton winger has been electric at times this season and there were questions asked when he was not played at the World Cup with the unfit Eden Hazard favoured by Belgium.

He has also struggled to play consistently for Brighton under new manager Roberto De Zerbi, with Kaoru Mitoma favoured by the Italian on the left wing. This could mean that the player who has scored seven goals in 16 Premier League appearances this season could be available to provide depth in attack for Conte.

Azzedine Ounahi - 14/1

The Morocco World Cup star is expected to make a big move this January following good performances at the World Cup in Qatar. He was ever present as a central midfielder during the campaign and currently plays at Angers in Ligue 1.

Napoli are 2/5 favourites for his signature, with the Serie A leaders hoping to seal a deal for the 22-year-old this month but Spurs could mount a late charge for the player who is valued at €15million (£13.2million) by Transfermarkt.
