Tottenham send message to Christian Eriksen after midfielder seals transfer deadline day move

Christian Eriksen Tottenham EPL

Former Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen made a return to the Premier League on deadline day of the January transfer window, signing for Brentford until the end of the season.

The Denmark international was forced to leave Inter Milan in the summer because the cardiac device fitted in his heart made him ineligible to play in Italy.

Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest during his country's Euro 2020 clash with Finland in the summer and received life-saving treatment on the pitch before the match was restarted.
