Tottenham predicted team vs Newcastle: Antonio Conte makes decision after Reguilon injury doubt

Antonio Conte will want his Tottenham Hotspur side to make it three wins in a row as they welcome Newcastle United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Conte has named the same team in Spurs' previous victories against Brighton and West Ham. However, the Italian has had one issue in midweek when it comes to his starting XI for the game against Newcastle and it's not a player who was previously injured or on international duty.

football.london understands that Sergio Reguilon pulled up in training on Thursday with a problem and had to leave the session. With two and a half days from that point until the match, the Spaniard could yet appear but if he does not then Matt Doherty is likely to switch to the left with Emerson Royal coming in on the right.

Conte said that Ben Davies is expected to be fine to face Newcastle after returning from Wales with a tight quad muscle.

Oliver Skipp and Ryan Sessegnon remain out but the Spurs head coach is hopeful that both will return to full training next week following their respective pelvic and hamstring problems.

Depending on Reguilon's fitness, the team mostly picks itself as long as everyone is fit and fresh to start.

Here is the team we reckon Conte will select:

3-4-3: Lloris; Romero, Dier, Davies; Emerson, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Doherty; Kulusevski, Kane, Son.
