Tottenham predicted team vs Leeds United: Ryan Mason makes one key change to his starting XI

Tottenham Hotspur end their disappointing season with a trip to Leeds United on Sunday and they need to return victorious to stand any chance of European qualification.

Spurs' top four hopes disappeared a few weeks ago and now their only hope of continental football next season lies with the Europa Conference League. However, to qualify for that they need to win at Leeds - no small task as they have not won outside London since October - and hope Aston Villa fail to beat Brighton at home at the same time.

Mason has to rediscover what Spurs did well in an impressive first half against Brentford with his favoured 4-2-3-1 formation and eradicate the mistakes they made in the second period against Thomas Frank's side.

Dejan Kulusevski impressed in his favoured number 10 role and Son Heung-min and Arnaut Danjuma brought energy down the flanks. Mason could be tempted to bring in the battling tendencies of Richarlison for this game in what will be a noisy atmosphere but in doing so he would lose Danjuma's ability to run in behind the Leeds defence.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's return to training could see Oliver Skipp drop to the bench if Mason wants the combined experienced of the Dane and Yves Bissouma in the centre of the pitch. Elsewhere, with Cristian Romero still out injured for Spurs, the rest of the team pretty much picks itself.

Here's the starting XI we reckon Mason will select:

4-2-3-1: Forster; Emerson, Sanchez, Lenglet, Davies; Bissouma, Hojbjerg; Danjuma, Kulusevski, Son; Kane.
