Tottenham will need a result at Marseille in their final Champions League group game after being held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Sporting Lisbon.
Former Spurs player Marcus Edwards opened the scoring in the first half with a brilliant strike and Rodrigo Bentancur equalised with a header after the interval.
Harry Kane had a stoppage-time winner ruled out for offside in a cruel end for Spurs.
Dan Kilpatrick was at White Hart Lane to rate the Spurs players...
Hugo Lloris 7
Fully extended for Edwards’ goal but still a sense he might have done better. Saved well from substitute Flavio Nazinho, Pedro Porro and Fatawu Issahaku to keep Spurs in it.
Cristian Romero 6
Backed off and turned his back on Edwards for the goal in a costly piece of defending. Raised the intensity in the second half, helping to drive Spurs forward.
Eric Dier 6
Should really have scored! Tested Antonio Adan with a volley in the second half, sent one header inches over the top and another wide. Defensively a little ropey. Looks jaded.
Ben Davies 5
Struggled with the threat of Edwards and the impressive Pedro Porro, and was replaced late on by more progressive passer Lenglet.
Matt Doherty 5
Nearly scored with a low effort well-saved by Adan shortly before he was replaced. Often drifted inside, leaving Lucas to provide width down the right.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg 6
Left on the deck by Edwards before the winger opened the scoring. Anchored the team by dropping deep as Spurs piled forward in the second half.
Rodrigo Bentancur 8
Salvaged a point for Spurs with a superb late header after raising the tempo in the second half. His energy levels are supreme.
Ivan Perisic 6
His brilliant corner made the equaliser but he could surely be doing more from open play.
Lucas Moura 3
Extremely rusty on his first start since May and did not look on the same wavelength as his teammates.
Heung-min Son 5
Forced Adan into saves either side of half-time but still not at his best, and ran down too many blind alleys.
Harry Kane 6
Involved in some good link up play but quiet by his standards this season, and barely had a sight of goal until his stoppage-time effort was cruelly ruled out by the VAR.
Subs
Bryan Gil (Doherty 71’) 7
Made a positive difference with lively, direct running and won the corner for the equaliser.
Emerson Royal (Lucas 81’) 6
Set up Kane’s disallowed goal.
Clement Lenglet (Davies 81’) 6
