Hugo Lloris
Saved Joelinton's early shot only for Murphy to slam home the rebound as he struggled to get up and react. Was rounded easily by Joelinton soon after. Couldn't do much about Murphy's rocket from distance moments later which flew inside the left-hand post. Both of Isak's shots though seem to go underneath him. Did not emerge for the second half with the club saying he was injured and tweaked something during the first 45 minutes. 1
Pedro Porro
Breezed past too easily by Joelinton in the opening moments and was nowhere near Wilson for Newcastle's sixth. Doesn't look like a natural full-back. Tried to get balls into the box at the other end and hit one shot into the side-netting. 2
Cristian Romero
As with Porro, he just let Joelinton breeze past him within a minute and then let the ball drop behind to the same player to score a couple of minutes later. Was all over the place for much of the match and especially looked lost in a back four. This has not been a season to remember for the Argentine at club level. 1

Eric Dier
Poor pass to Son that was cut out for Murphy to score Newcastle's third. He was out of position with Romero for the fourth goal and again for the fifth. Spurs needed an experienced head in the back four, he is not it, bringing no calm at all to the defence. 1
Ivan Perisic
Playing out of position as a full-back and completely lost Murphy for the first goal. Caught well up the pitch for the fifth goal. Fired an effort over at the start of the second half but was not able to get forward much until late in the game. 2
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
Another experienced head on the pitch but showed no leadership at all. Provided the pass for Kane's goal and was better in the second half but only because Newcastle went down the gears. 3
Pape Matar Sarr
Thrown back into the team and he lasted just 23 minutes before being sacrificed. He at least had the excuse of lacking in sharpness. 2
Oliver Skipp
One of the few launching into challenges, earning himself a yellow card, and he set up Kane for a good chance in the first half but like everyone else he was off the pace in the first 20 minutes. 3
Dejan Kulusevski
Another poor display from the Swede who has lost his confidence. 2
Harry Kane
Curled a shot just wide in the first half but did score after the break with a low shot inside the right-hand post. He deserves so much better than what he has around him. 6
Son Heung-min
Lost the ball for Newcastle's third but it was a poor pass from Dier that put him into trouble. Kept running when others stopped and had a few half chances but with no joy. 4
Subs
Davinson Sanchez
Came on after the fifth goal and was by far the best of the defenders but that wasn't saying much. 5
Fraser Forster
Replaced Lloris for the second half and couldn't do much about Wilson's close range finish. 5
Arnaut Danjuma
Had one shot at goal after replacing Kulusevski. 5
Richarlison
Came on for the final 12 minutes for Son but added little. 4
