Conte's half-time tactical tweak
Spurs may have maintained their unbeaten start to the new Premier League season with a 1-0 win against Wolves at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, but it was Bruno Lage's side that enjoyed a one-sided first half, with Wolves unfortunate not to go into the break ahead.
An inspired half-time change from Antonio Conte proved to be the difference as Tottenham emerged as a far better side following the interval. After the game, the Italian explained what changed at half-time: "In the second half, I tried to fix some situations in the tactical aspect.

Napoli boss makes Tanguy Ndombele claim
Tanguy Ndombele has already made a big impression on Luciano Spalletti following his loan switch to Napoli from Tottenham. After falling out of favour in north London under Antonio Conte, the French midfielder departed for the second time on loan in 2022 after initially returning to former side Lyon at the end of January.
Failing to recapture his best form back in France, the 25-year-old will be hoping to hit his stride at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona as he bids to get his career back on track. Speaking to the media to preview the game, Spalletti was asked about his new signings, specifically Ndombele.
He acknowledged: "Ndombele can play in any midfield position. I was struck by his enthusiasm when he arrived at Napoli. He has an incredible desire to win and shows great willingness. As soon as I saw him in training, I could envisage him wearing the Azzurri shirt."
Spurs player ratings vs Wolves
Our Tottenham Hotspur expert Alasdair Gold ran the rule over Tottenham's players after the weekend's victory.
One major star was considered to be "off the pace in the first half with some loose touches," whilst another was described to have had "very sloppy moments."
Nevertheless, there was praise for "Spurs' best defender on the day in the back three" as a midfielder was deemed to be the "driving force" in another "lung-busting display."
