Levy told how to solve Kane contract puzzle
Daniel Levy has been told how to tie Harry Kane down to a new deal at Tottenham. The 29-year-old faces an increasingly uncertain future in north London after entering the final 18 months of his contract.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Darren Ambrose said: "I’d take him at Spurs for £50million. I think he’s the perfect player that Spurs need that goes from defence to attack. And he can be that link to the play and I think you’ve got the players that will do the dirty work – the dog work – in terms of [Pierre-Emile] Hojbjerg and [Oliver] Skipp and players like that.
"I think he’s fantastic. Listen, you sign James Ward-Prowse, Harry Kane stays. That’s an extra ten goals a season for him with his deliveries."

Pochettino leads race to replace Conte
Mauricio Pochettino and Thomas Tuchel are leading the race to replace Antonio Conte as Tottenham head coach at the end of the season. The Italian sees his contract with Spurs expire in the summer but the north London outfit hold the option to extend his deal by a further 12 months if they wish to do so.
According to BetFair, the Argentine is odds-on favourite, at 7/4, to be appointed in the dugout just over three years after he was sacked. At 11/2, Tuchel is second in the race to replace Conte, ahead of Brentford boss Thomas Frank in third at 9/1.
At 10/1 is Paris Saint-Germain head coach Christophe Galtier and in fifth is De Zerbi at 13/1. Unsurprisingly, a return for Jose Mourinho looks wide of the mark coming in at 101/1 to be next Tottenham boss.
Carragher backs Spurs to finish higher than Liverpool
Jamie Carragher has insisted that Tottenham will rank higher than Liverpool in the Premier League this season despite the demolition of Manchester United. Jurgen Klopp's side brought the Red Devils' 11-game unbeaten streak to an end as they ran riot at Anfield, putting seven past the visitors.
Despite Liverpool's jaw-dropping display, Carragher conceded that Spurs are still better placed to finish higher in the table. Speaking on The Gary Neville Podcast, Carragher said: "I think there’s probably a better feeling around Liverpool, even though I think Tottenham, this season, have probably performed better on a lot of occasions.
"I still favour Tottenham, because I’ve actually looked right at the fixture list and they’ve got a lot more favourable fixtures than Liverpool do."
