Mason issues injury update
Ryan Mason has confirmed that Cristian Romero will not be available for Tottenham's final Premier League game of the season against Leeds United. The Argentina international was missing for last weekend's 3-1 defeat against Brentford having sustained an issue early on in their previous game at Aston Villa.
Romero wasn't the only Spurs player to miss out against the Bees, however, as Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was also absent from the squad through injury. Whereas Romero will not feature at Elland Road, there is a chance that the Dane could be included in the matchday party as he was involved in training at Hotspur Way on Thursday.
"Cristian no, he's got an injury and out," said Mason when speaking at his pre-match press conference. "Pierre trained yesterday so we're hopeful that maybe he can help us at the weekend."

Kane for Hazard swap deal?
While Harry Kane could leave on a free in one year, there could be a transfer solution this summer in the form of Real Madrid, according to reports. Spanish radio outlet Cadena SER claims that Real Madrid have joined the race to sign the 29-year-old, offering up former Chelsea star Eden Hazard as an option to swap too.
It could see Spurs land a replacement in the forward areas for if Kane was to leave, but it remains to be seen if that would be enough to sway Daniel Levy to budge on his stance.

Summer priority
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has been told by former defender William Gallas he must appoint the perfect sporting director to take Spurs into their next era. Previous managing director Fabio Paratici left the club on April 21 in the midst of appealing his 30-month footballing ban after it was placed in effect worldwide and not just in Italy.
Speaking to Genting Casino, he said: "To sign the very best players, Tottenham need to have the right scouting set-up. They need a new Sporting Director to come in. They need someone in there who leads the recruitment strategy who can bring in these players - signing players isn’t enough.
"Some of the players that I’ve seen at the club simply do not have the quality to play for a club like Tottenham. Perhaps the recruitment at the club over the last few years hasn’t been good enough. Getting the right Sporting Director is just as crucial as appointing the right manager this summer."
