Lyon president discusses permanent Tanguy Ndombele transfer
Tottenham playmaker and record signing Tanguy Ndombele made the January loan switch to Ligue 1 side Lyon, with reports claiming a clause is included that could see the Frenchman make the move permanent.
The 25-year-old has made two appearances since joining, assisting once in that short spell so far.
Speaking to RMC Sport, Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas discussed the possibility of signing Ndombele on a permanent deal, with one condition.
He said: “You have to let a few games pass, it's only the beginning. But if we win the Europa League, everything will be possible.
“I am very happy that he came back, with Bruno Cheyrou and Vincent Ponsot [directors] at the helm, because we had to discuss with the president of Tottenham who bought him very expensive.”
