Rodgers suggestion
Michail Antonio has named the perfect candidate to replace Antonio Conte as Tottenham's next head coach. The Italian parted ways with the Lilywhites earlier last month after a fiery rant about the club proved to be the final straw.
Speaking on The Footballer’s Football Podcast, the West Ham star said: "I think that would be unbelievable. Spurs like to play football, they like to play tight-knit football. They’ve got Harry Kane who drops in, they’ve got Son to hit edges. I swear to you, it would work. It would definitely work. Rodgers took over at Liverpool, he was two points off winning the Premier League.
"He has the nous, he has the qualities to do it. To be fair, he learnt from one of the best, so he was an apprentice for [Jose] Mourinho. I feel it will work, like him going to Spurs will definitely work."

Maddison price tag
Daniel Levy has been told how much it will cost to sign James Maddison as Tottenham look to bolster their midfield options in the summer. The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with an exit from Leicester City for a while now as he continues to impress for club and, more recently, his country.
With the midfielder's contract in the midlands coming to an end, it's believed that Leicester are preparing for his exit. The Foxes announced pre-tax losses of £92.5million for 2021-22, noting the decision not to sell first-team players as a reason for their financial woes.
They have since sold Wesley Fofana to Chelsea and have now put a price tag on Maddison's signature. According to The Telegraph, Leicester are expected to demand around £50million for the Englishman.
Zidane ultimatum
Emmanuel Petit has explained why Zinedine Zidane will not be appointed as the next Chelsea or Tottenham manager. The former Real Madrid boss has been heavily linked with a job in the Premier League recently following the dismissals of Graham Potter and Antonio Conte, respectively.
Speaking to Stadium Astro, Petit said: "Zidane, he won't come. Definitely. Do you know why? Because he doesn't speak English. That's the truth - because I have known Zidane for ages and the way he manages players, he's very close, and he always talks to his players.
"So he wants communication to be a priority. Very important for him, he doesn't want someone to translate everything he has to say publicly."
