Harry Kane sends Darwin Nunez and Erling Haaland message
Harry Kane has been reflecting on the two big signings so far in this transfer window.
Liverpool have splashed an initial £64million on Benfica star Darwin Nunez, while Man City have spent £50million-plus on Erling Haaland's release clause - two moves which have created more of a gap to the chasing pack.
Although Tottenham have been making moves of their own this summer, a title race seems some way off still. However, the club's stars are still in the running for individual awards as Son Heung-min showed this season by claiming a joint-Golden Boot with Mohamed Salah.
It's an award that Kane won three times himself, but the chances of adding a fourth next season have certainly thinned with the two aforementioned signings of world-class talent.

Nonetheless, the 28-year-old is still looking forward to the challenge ahead in winning an award again that will feel more special now, especially considering the increased competition that both Nunez and Haaland will provide.
"Look the battle for the Golden Boot is always tough. The Premier League has produced some top strikers around the world for a number of years, every season I’ve been playing it’s always been a tough battle to win that golden boot and it’s no different," Kane said.
"You expect the top striker’s to want to play in the Premier League and those two new signings that’s going to be the case. It helps me as a player to have group competition it drives me to improve and get better. I look forward to the challenge.
Tottenham's new transfer structure
Fabio Paratici has been working on surrounding himself with a new team of people to shape Tottenham Hotspur into the club he wants it to be.
Paratici and Spurs' former technical performance director Steve Hitchen had undertaken a thorough appraisal of the departments within the club and what needed to be changed, with increased budgets handed to Paratici by chairman Daniel Levy.
Following Hitchen's resignation in February and after holding a series of interviews with top candidates around the game, Paratici has decided upon the personnel who will this summer form his new senior management structure in newly-created roles to ensure Antonio Conte's side has the best support possible on and off the pitch.
Gretar Steinsson is set to join Spurs as performance director, along with Andy Scoulding as his assistant, with both highly-rated recruitment specialists taking on many of the tasks Hitchen had under his remit and more, across both the first team and academy.

Dejan Kulusevski delivers positive response to question about Christian Eriksen Tottenham return
Dejan Kulusevski says Christian Eriksen would be "most welcome" if the Danish midfielder made the move back to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
football.london understands that Spurs have discussed internally a move for the 30-year-old midfielder, who would be a free agent after the expiry of his contract at Brentford this summer. Eriksen has returned to the top level after suffering a cardiac arrest last summer at the Euros and has been in fine form back in the Premier League for the Bees and on international duty for Denmark.
"He would be most welcome," Kulusevski told media outlet Nettavisen. "He is an incredible player and a wonderfully good person too. I know him a little from before, but no [we haven't spoken recently], we are not that good friends."
