Brazilian defender 'wants' Spurs move
Brazilian defender Rodrigo Becao is interested in signing for Tottenham in the January transfer window.
According to Tutto Udinese, the Udinese centre-back is keen to make the move to north London as Fabio Paratici searches for further reinforcements for Antonio Conte's squad. However, Spurs could face a battle for his signature as Arsenal, Everton and Torino are also reportedly interested.
Becao has featured nine times for Udinese this season and has also scored one and assisted another. The 26-year-old, believed to be valued at around £17 million, has been at the Serie A side for three years but now seems keen on a move away.

Dane Scarlett decision
Tottenham did not give Portsmouth permission to play Dane Scarlett in their FA Cup second-round tie against MK Dons on Saturday.
Featuring regularly for Danny Cowley's team following his loan switch to Fratton Park in the summer, the 18-year-old was missing from the Pompey matchday squad in their FA Cup first-round tie away at non-league Hereford at the beginning of November.
Looking a certainty to feature in the match at Edgar Street, Scarlett wasn't the only Portsmouth loanee to miss out as Owen Dale also didn't take his place in the squad. Scarlett's absence was down to Tottenham denying the League One club permission to play him in the FA Cup encounter, with Blackpool doing the same regarding Dale.
Tottenham once again decided against Scarlett playing in the FA Cup for his loan club. The decision means the striker would be eligible to play for Spurs or another club in the third round if they wanted to recall him from Portsmouth in the new year.

Spurs fixtures compared
Tottenham are in a good position to attack the second part of the Premier League season once domestic football resumes next month. Last in action two weeks ago with a thrilling 4-3 win over Leeds United, Spurs fans will have to wait another month before the team return to the field as the World Cup in Qatar is now in full swing.
Sitting fourth in the Premier League table after 15 games, the Lilywhites find themselves eight points behind league leaders Arsenal, who have played one game less. Manchester United are now breathing down their necks, however, with the gap between Spurs and the Red Devils in fifth now only three points.
Set to face another busy spell of games over the festive period with three fixtures on the calendar before the third round of the FA Cup, Tottenham and their rivals could quite easily drop points with players just returning from the World Cup. So who do Spurs and the likes of Arsenal, Man City, Newcastle United, Manchester United and Liverpool face in the league in December and January? football.london takes a look.
