Conte's Motherwell decisions
Tottenham face Scottish side Motherwell in a friendly at Hotspur Way tomorrow in a behind-closed-doors warm-up ahead of the return of domestic football in just under three weeks time.
Players not at the 2022 Qatar World Cup were given time off in a mid-season break before returning last Monday for training once more.
In terms of the strongest side possible, Fraser Forster will most likely start as Hugo Lloris prepares to play for France against England in the quarter-finals on Saturday. Meanwhile, there is a defensive conundrum with three right wing-backs available for the game.

Kulusevski alternative
Tottenham can recreate one of their most successful recent transfers as Fabio Paratici sets about reinforcing Antonio Conte's forward line.
Swedish attacker Dejan Kulusevski has been one of the best deals in recent memory and made an immediate impact after signing in January earlier this year. He has now gone on to become almost irreplaceable player in the side.
In order to get something across the line in time for the impact to be felt this season, looking at players out of contract in 2023 and therefore available for cheap much earlier is a way to bypass large fees, and Marcus Thuram could be one to look at.

World Cup deal
Tottenham are reportedly prepared to reignite their interest in Fiorentina and Morocco midfielder Sofyan Amrabat. He stood out against Spain as the African side secured their passage to the quarter-finals of the World Cup with an historic win on penalties.
Conte was keen on signing the player last winter too, but Spurs were unable to bring him in, and Joe Cole has heaped praise his way following the Qatar result. "Amrabat, outstanding.," he said.
"As good a holding midfielder as we’ve seen at the tournament, in terms of defensive instinct."
