Cristian Stellini's advice for Ryan Mason
Cristian Stellini believes that Ryan Mason's ability to deliver a clear message to players will help the Tottenham coach become a manager one day. The assistant boss was asked whether the former England international could become a manager.
"Yeah, I think so. He is young. He needs time and experience but probably. I am not the right person to give him suggestions because he has studied a lot and he wants to improve," he said. "He has a good character to be a coach and to lead a club, but he needs experience like everyone."
When asked what Mason's best attribute as a coach is, Stellini added: "I think one of the best skills for a coach is [clarity]. Don’t create confusion. He has many details, many ideas, many players to make a choice and to [filter] all this is an important skill. Ryan has the character and this type of skill, and I think this is an important skill for a great coach."

Sir Jim Ratcliffe sends warning amid United takeover bid
Manchester United are to be the subject of an ownership bid from Sir Jim Ratcliffe on behalf of chemical giant INEOS. Ratcliffe has set out his intentions to make 'Manchester United the number one club in the world once again', in a clear warning to Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and every club hopeful of dominating the game on the global stage.
A statement released by the company said: "We can confirm that Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS have submitted a bid for majority ownership of Manchester United Football Club. We would see our role as the long-term custodians of Manchester United on behalf of the fans and the wider community.
"We are ambitious and highly competitive and would want to invest in Manchester United to make them the number one club in the world once again."
Rose suggests perfect Conte replacement
Danny Rose has suggested that Tottenham appoint former boss Mauricio Pochettino if they can't hold onto Antonio Conte. The former Spurs defender told JOE: "For me as an outsider looking in Conte being a manager of your football club on paper that’s amazing. For me I would love him to stay but I’m not privy to what is going on with Spurs at the moment on the first-team side.
"But for me as an outsider looking in I’d be over the moon if Conte could stay as Tottenham manager. But if Mauricio Pochettino could be tempted to come back then I’d be saying do everything you can to get him back.
"You sort of see and hear things that Conte says about being able to compete with the bigger teams, which is right, you have to spend quite a bit of money and out of the bigger teams Tottenham might not do that as much as the others, so you have to understand his frustrations."
