Here is your morning Tottenham Hotspur digest on Sunday, June 18.
Kulusevski completes permanent Spurs move
Tottenham have confirmed the permanent transfer of Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus after he initially joined on an 18-month loan in January 2022.
A club statement read "An exciting and versatile forward, Dejan made an outstanding impact on his first start for the Club, scoring and registering an assist in a memorable 3-2 victory over Manchester City in February, 2022. He carried on his fine form throughout the second half of the 2021/22 season, playing an integral role in the Club’s qualification into last year’s UEFA Champions League."
Spurs have now activated the option to buy him for the same amount, which is payable over five years.
Postecoglou identifies third summer signing
The latest defensive link comes at centre-back as Sky Sports claims that Tottenham are eyeing up a move for Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo this summer. The 25-year-old is entering the final year of his contract with the London side and a contract extension seems unlikely at this stage.
That situation could see Postecoglou land a bargain move to bolster his ranks as Clement Lenglet returns to Barcelona from his loan and Davinson Sanchez is linked with an exit.
David Raya breaks silence on future
Brentford goalkeeper David Raya has been strongly linked with a move to Spurs this summer as Hugo Lloris' replacement and has spoken about his future whilst on international duty with Spain.
Speaking to The Times whilst on international duty with Spain, he said: "I know there are rumours about me leaving," he said. "There are some options for me to go but obviously Brentford are asking for a lot of money.
"I have ambitions to make the next step in my career. I want to try to win titles and to compete in Europe in the next couple of years. I'm 27 now and I feel like I'm at the point in my career when I want to make that step up."
