Here are your latest Tottenham news stories for Monday, April 4.
Doherty makes Mourinho claim
Matt Doherty has enjoyed somewhat of a renaissance under Antonio Conte at Tottenham in recent months and has played a part in five wins in their last six games. He scored against Newcastle on Sunday afternoon to underline his improvement, despite playing in an unfamiliar left-wing-back role for Conte.
However, he may not have had the chance to revive his Spurs career after being frozen out under Jose Mourinho this time last year. Doherty has been speaking about the incident which saw the Irishman sat alone on a bus, leaving him considering his future at the club.

Tottenham target praised
Jack Harrison has become a target for Tottenham in recent months following the failure to secure a number of names in the January transfer window. The 25-year-old scored in the Premier League this weekend and drew praise from his manager, Jesse Marsch after a 1-1 draw with Southampton at Elland Road.
Harrison is Leeds' second top scorer this season and has impressed during his time in the Premier League - he could be a cheaper option this summer as Conte looks to improve his squad.
Souness makes bold Kane contract suggestion
Graeme Souness has suggested that Harry Kane should demand that Antonio Conte be handed large transfer funds before entering into contract talks at Spurs this summer. Conte was promised funds in January but missed out on key targets including Adama Traore and Luis Diaz while bringing in Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski on loan.
Kane handed his boyhood club a transfer request last summer with a move to Manchester City looking like a strong possibility, but the 28-year-old missed out on a move before having a slow start to this season. However, Kane and Conte have enjoyed a fruitful relationship in North London and the Italian's presence may be enough for the England captain to commit his future to Spurs should his demands be met.
