Mauricio Pochettino preferred Graham Potter Chelsea replacement as fans demand immediate change

Graham Potter Mauricio Pochettino Chelsea EPL Southampton Enzo Fernandez Luis Enrique Reece James Thiago Silva

Chelsea's miserable 1-0 Premier League defeat to Southampton has further increased the pressure on Blues boss Graham Potter, with the club left sitting in 10th place after 23 matches.

James Ward-Prowse netted a trademark free-kick to extend Chelsea's winless run to five games across all competitions as supporters begin to grow restless amid little sign of progression.

Despite registering 17 shots and dominating 61% of possession, the hosts visibly lacked a cutting edge, making Potter's decision to rest the likes of Reece James and Hakim Ziyech, whilst also leaving out Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang again, even more questionable.
