The return of the Premier League season is fast approaching and Tottenham Hotspur are among those clubs counting the cost of the World Cup.
Spurs host Nice on December 21 in a friendly at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before the Premier League returns on Boxing Day with Antonio Conte taking his team to Brentford. World Cup players are now returning to Hotspur Way in stages as their involvement ends in Qatar.
However, some players have returned with injury problems while others are recovering from injuries picked up in training during the break or before it. Here is the full list of Tottenham's current injuries and the known dates when Conte will get his players back in the fold.

Rodrigo Bentancur
The 25-year-old suffered a small tear to his adductor muscle in his right leg 33 minutes into Uruguay's World Cup game against Ghana on December 2.
With Bentancur suspended for the match at Brentford, the midfielder has extra time to recover back at Hotspur Way, but there is hope he could be in contention for Spurs' New Year's Day match at home against Aston Villa.
Ben Davies
football.london reported last week that the Welshman is a potential doubt for the match at Brentford. The defender had to come off just before the hour mark of Wales' 3-0 defeat to England on November 29.
During the game Davies suffered a painful injury to his oblique muscle, which is located in the abdominal area. The recovery period for the damaged muscle is expected to be up to four weeks and that means he could be a doubt for that Boxing Day clash, although recent images of him working in the Hotspur Way gym do bode well.
Richarlison
Richarlison was back at Hotspur Way on Monday but it was not simply because he was eager to return to club life. It turns out he suffered a hamstring injury in the warm-up before Brazil's World Cup exit at the hands of Croatia on Friday yet still played for 84 minutes of the game.
Spurs are currently awaiting the attacker's scan results to find out just how long he will be out of action. After impressing in Qatar as a front man, Conte will not want to lose Richarlison again for too long after his frustrating pre-World Cup month-long injury absence.
Son Heung-min
Son is on this list because he will continue to wear a mask to protect his left eye, after surgery last month to stabilise a fracture there.
So while the South Korean star is able to play, and did so four times at the World Cup in Qatar, he technically remains on this list because he is still healing from his injury and admitted himself to Korean media that he will need to use his mask for a little while yet as the Premier League returns.
Ryan Sessegnon
The 22-year-old suffered what looked like a hamstring injury in the second half of the Carabao Cup defeat at Nottingham Forest last month, having to remain on the pitch in pain because Tottenham had made all of their substitutions.
Sessegnon was back in outdoor training on the grass away from the group last week and should be in contention for the match at Brentford if his recovery continues in the right direction.
Lucas Moura, Clement Lenglet, Fraser Forster and Emerson Royal
We're taking these players as a quartet because they all missed Friday's friendly victory over Motherwell with what was believed to be minor knocks suffered in training in the days ahead of the match.
Their absence from the matchday squad was deemed as simply precautionary at the time but Conte will be hoping that nothing further develops from any of their issues.
