Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero names Liverpool and Manchester United men as best in Premier League

Cristian Romero Liverpool EPL Tottenham Tottenham Hotspur Manchester United Van Dijk Virgil van Dijk Lisandro Martinez Jude Bellingham

Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero believes Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk is the best defender in the Premier League.

The Argentina international also gave an honourable mention to Manchester United centre half Lisandro Martinez, who he mentioned alongside Van Dijk as the two best in the league.

Van Dijk has come in for criticism for some of his performances for Liverpool so far this season in what has been a difficult start for the Reds, but the likes of Romero still have him up there with the best in the game.
