Antonio Conte and his Tottenham side returned to winning ways on Sunday as Spurs overcame Leicester City at home. Harry Kane opened the scoring before Son Heung-Min grabbed a brace to storm into a three-goal lead.
The only blemish on the day was a 90th minute consolation goal for Kelechi Iheanacho. On the win, Conte said: “It was a good performance against a really good team. The game wasn't easy and we knew very well that despite them making eight changes you can see the quality, the squad that Leicester has.
“I think we started well and then we got lucky when they hit the post but after this we scored with Harry and then we had chances to improve the result. We deserved to win the game. We get three points in an important moment of the season especially as in the next games we are going to face Liverpool and Arsenal.
