Tottenham fixtures 2021/22 as Antonio Conte plots Arsenal demolition amid Champions League race

Tottenham have ground to make up in the running to secure Champions League qualification. The north Londoners have picked up just seven points from a possible twelve this month - all of which were against opposition inside the bottom half of the Premier League.

Antonio Conte's side sit fifth on 58 points. The Lilywhites are just two points behind Arsenal, who they face before the curtains are drawn, and seven from third-place Chelsea, who have a game in hand.

Meanwhile, Manchester United, who are four points behind Spurs despite having played a game extra, look to be out of the race for top-four. Tottenham have just five Premier League fixtures to reclaim Champions League status for the first since 2019/20.

Conte's side have no other competition on their plate, having suffered early exits from the UEFA Conference League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup. So, with that in mind, football.london outlines every Tottenham fixture left in the diary.

Leicester (H) - May 1

Last time out, Tottenham walked away 3-2 victors in spectacular fashion. Steven Bergwijn snatched three points for his side with two goals in the dying embers of the tie. The 24-year-old's heroics sent the visiting Spurs faithful into pandemonium as the Dutchman wrapped up the unthinkable.

The Foxes have recently advanced into the UEFA Conference League semi-final which is set to be played on April 28 and May 5. Leicester's commitments elsewhere could play into Tottenham's hands.

Liverpool (A) - May 7

One of, if not, the toughest games left on the calendar. Conte’s men will have to make the trip to Anfield amid Liverpool's title race with Manchester City that looks to go the distance.

Spurs do have some hope though, having impressed in the reverse fixture back in December, ending in a 2-2 draw. Goals from Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min won the home side a point.

Arsenal (H) - May 12

North London derbies are huge as it is, though this one could be the biggest one in years. Bragging rights and Champions League football is up for grabs. The race for top-four could be decided in this fixture.

Burnley (H) - May 15

The final home game of the season comes against Burnley, who have been embroiled in a relegation battle all season. The Clarets have battled back so far, putting themselves two points from the drop zone with a game in hand.

Despite being down the bottom, the reverse fixture did end in a 1-0 Burnley win, and Conte will be keen for no repeat of that.

Norwich (A) - May 22

The Canaries have been rock bottom for the majority of the season and look almost certain to drop down to the second tier again. With Champions League qualification somewhat still on the cards, and Arsenal's fixture list in mind too, Carrow Road could be the ground to end the season.
