Antonio Conte is set to be without five of his Tottenham squad for Tuesday's Champions League Round of 16 game against AC Milan following a nightmare week in N17. Having the luxury of a fully-fit squad for their 1-0 win over Man City, Spurs have since been hit with a quadruple injury blow which has left Hugo Lloris, Yves Bissouma, Ryan Sessegnon and Rodrigo Bentancur on the sidelines.
Not only will Spurs be missing the quartet at the San Siro, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will also be absent for the showdown against the Italian giants as he is serving a one-match ban in the Champions League. The Dane's suspension comes after picking up three bookings in Tottenham's six Group D fixtures.
Champions League rules stipulate that any player shown three yellow cards will have to sit out their next competition match. Yellow cards are then only wiped out after the completion of the quarter-finals.

So are any other Tottenham players in danger of picking up a one-match suspension and missing the return leg against AC Milan on Wednesday, March 8?
As things stand after six Champions League group games in the 2022/23 campaign, Tottenham have three players on two bookings. The players in question are Eric Dier, Clement Lenglet and Bentancur. As the Uruguay ace is now out for the remainder of the season after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in Saturday's 4-1 defeat at Leicester City, Spurs' only suspension worries are Dier and Lenglet.
The England international picked up his two yellow cards in the home games against Marseille and Eintracht Frankfurt, with his fellow centre-back receiving his in the away ties in Frankfurt and Marseille. Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Cristian Romero, Emerson Royal and Sessegnon all have one booking to their name from the group stage. with Cristian Stellini also seeing yellow during their late win at Marseille on matchday six when he was in charge of the team with Conte in the stands.
Dier and Lenglet are the two in immediate danger, though, and a caution in the San Siro will add to Conte's issues in terms of missing players for the second leg at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in three weeks' time.
