Tottenham have been linked with a move for Roma midfielder Jordan Veretout amid reports the Frenchman could join Marseille.
Spurs have also been linked with Veretout's teammate Nicolo Zaniolo this summer as Antonio Conte continues to search for players to add to his squad. The Lilywhites have signed Yves Bissouma this summer to challenge Rodrigo Bentancur and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg for a starting spot, whilst Harry Winks could leave the club in search of regular first team football after falling behind Oliver Skipp in the pecking order.
Spurs were rumoured to be interested in signing Veretout back in January before making a move for Juventus duo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski. Tottenham could reignite their interest this summer now the French midfielder is being approached by Marseille to replace Boubacar Kamara.

According to L'Equipe, Marseille have opened talks with Jose Mourinho's side over the signing of Veretout. The Ligue 1 side looking for a replacement to Kamara, who left this summer at the end of his contract to join Aston Villa on a free transfer.
Reports suggest the 29-year-old could be available for just £13million this summer, representing a cheap, experienced option in midfield. Spurs could take advantage of this opportunity and look to hijack a move for Veretout, reigniting their interest in the player as a potential replacement for Winks.
football.london understands the English midfielder is expected to leave the club after being left out of Spurs' pre-season tour of South Korea. Winks has been linked with moves to Everton and Southampton in recent weeks, with the 26-year-old falling down the pecking order at N17 following the arrival of Bissouma.
