Tottenham have been dealt a new injury worry after Conor Gallagher was forced to miss the draw against Liverpool.

Gallagher was already a doubt for the Premier League clash at Anfield after Spurs interim head coach Igor Tudor revealed in the pre-match press conference on Friday that midfielder had been suffering with a fever.

Although, Tudor was confident of having the January signing from Atletico Madrid available for selection.

“Conor has some fever. But probably he will be in,” Tudor told reporters.

“So we have again a lot of problems to make the first eleven. This is how it is in this club. This happens all the time."

However, Gallagher did not make the matchday squad on Sunday, thus making it THIRTEEN senior Tottenham players unavailable for selection and it was revealed ahead of kick-off that he was not feeling good in the morning.

There is yet to be a further update on Gallagher, but he could be a doubt for Tottenham’s next fixture against Atletico on Wednesday night in the Champions League last-16 second leg.

Spurs were forced to adapt without Gallagher and claimed a deserved point at Anfield thanks to Richarlison’s dramatic equaliser right as the clock ticked into stoppage time.

“We were preparing one training session with Conor [Gallagher] in the middle, and other solutions, but we needed to change today, so it was a system, it was a team putting in without training,” Tudor said in the post-match press conference.

“let's say, two, three positions were changed, because it totally happened like this, you know, you prepare two trainings, then in the morning the team you didn't prepare, because someone is out, so this, again, to repeat, is even more value of this victory to the guys.

“Congratulations to the guys, they were happy there also, you know, team spirit, that was the key of this point.”
