Antonio Conte had made three changes as he attempts to get Tottenham's season back on track with Nottingham Forest with the visitors Saturday afternoon.
Spurs' campaign has come off the rails in the past week with lacklustre exits from the FA Cup and Champions League at the hands of Sheffield United and AC Milan respectively. Conte's future has been under scrutiny following three games without a goal and with Liverpool chasing behind, Tottenham need to get back to winning ways to maintain their spot in the top four.
Conte admitted on Friday that both Emerson Royal and Ivan Perisic are injury doubts ahead of the game, with the Brazilian having missed training that day. Perisic is on the bench and Emerson misses out entirely.

Up front, Richarlison was vocal about his frustrations with the head coach's selection decisions on Wednesday and his lack of game time, and in turn the Italian was similarly forthright in his opinion of the £60m Brazilian's unimpressive season so far.
The Spurs boss did say the former Everton attacker apologised for his comments and he duly returns to the starting line-up.
The Tottenham fans want to see Arnaut Danjuma finally make his full debut for Tottenham since moving on loan from Villarreal six weeks ago, but Conte stating that the Netherlands was a club signing and one who does not actually fit his system and formation does not bode well and he remains on the bench.
Elsewhere Eric Dier returns to the defence, which allows Ben Davies to replace the out of form Perisic on the left. On the other flank, Pedro Porro gets another Premier League start to his name.
There is a first appearance in a Premier League matchday squad for 19-year-old winger Romaine Mundle, who has been in good form for the U21s in recent weeks.
Here's the team Conte has selected:
Forster; Romero, Dier, Lenglet; Porro, Hojbjerg, Skipp, Davies; Richarlison, Kane, Son. Subs: Austin, Sanchez, Tanganga, Perisic, Sarr, Mundle, Danjuma, Lucas, Kulusevski.
