Ryan Mason has made two changes to his Tottenham team for this afternoon's Premier League clash against Liverpool. Only in action on Thursday evening against Manchester United, it has been a rather quick turnaround for the acting head coach and his players heading into today's game on Merseyside.
Trailing 2-0 at half-time three days ago against the Red Devils, Spurs showed plenty of fight and spirit in the second half to come away with a draw following goals from Pedro Porro and Son Heung-min. Tottenham will once again need to show those qualities at Anfield, especially with Liverpool in good form and scoring plenty of goals at present.
Following that point against Manchester United, Mason has elected to make two alterations against Jurgen Kiopp's men. Fraser Forster once again starts in goal as Hugo Lloris remains out through injury, while Ben Davies come into the team in place of Clement Lenglet to join Cristian Romero and Eric Dier in the backline.

Porro and Ivan Perisic were in impressive form in the 2-2 draw in midweek and keep their places in the wing-back positions. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Oliver Skipp are Mason's midfield partnership of choice again as Pape Matar Sarr has to settle for a spot on the bench again.
In attack, Dejan Kulusevski is given the nod to start alongside Harry Kane and Son in the front three. As a result, Richarlison drops down to the bench on his return to Merseyside.
The Reds may have endured a rather frustrating season but their results on home soil have been very positive with only one defeat from a possible 15. Asked about Liverpool's form at Anfield, Mason made it clear that his focus going into the game is very much on his own side.
"Listen, we focus on ourselves," he stated in his pre-match press conference. "We feel confident that whenever we have the ball against any opposition we can hurt them because we've got quality players.
"But at the same time we have to respect who we're coming up against. And be a team, be humble together and work hard for each other and hopefully get a positive result."
