Tottenham 2022/23 Premier League fixtures in full: Home start vs Southampton but tough run-in

Tottenham Hotspur will start their Premier League season with a home match against Southampton and will end it with a trip to Leeds United.

This is set to be a Premier League season like no other with a long break in the middle for the World Cup in Qatar to be squeezed in. While the TV companies are still to make their picks, which will change many dates and kick-off times, Spurs will definitely begin their campaign by welcoming the Saints to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with that game set for Saturday August 6 and a 3pm kick-off.

Antonio Conte's side then face their first London derby when they make the trip to Chelsea the following weekend before returning home to host Wolverhampton a week later. The first trip to new boys Nottingham Forest comes on the weekend of August 27 before the first midweek match arrives and it's another London derby, at West Ham United, currently set for August 30 with a 7.45pm kick-off.

All fans keep an out for the north London derby dates and those games against Arsenal are currently slated for October 1 at the Emirates and then on January 14 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The mid-season break for the World Cup arrives after Spurs' home match against Leeds United on November 12, with Conte's men then not playing in the Premier League again until their festive fixtures in December, with a Boxing Day game at Brentford currently in the schedule. However, if Tottenham do advance to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, that round is due to be played in the midweek before, around December 21.

There will be no second festive game coming quickly just a few days after the Boxing Day game as normal as the Premier League are trying to ease players back in after the World Cup and instead Tottenham will wait until New Year's Eve before welcoming Aston Villa to N17 before travelling across London to Crystal Palace two days later.

The run-in is currently a mixed affair for Spurs with a triple bill of a trip to Newcastle United on April 22, then a midweek home game against Manchester United - making it two midweek games against Erik ten Hag's side after an October 19 midweek trip to Old Trafford. After that second United game, Tottenham will travel to Liverpool days later that weekend before the fixtures, on paper, ease ever so slightly albeit with some potentially tricky away trips in front of noisy crowds.

Conte's men welcome Crystal Palace on May 6, before facing weekend games against Aston Villa away, Brentford at home before finishing their Premier League campaign with a May 28 journey to Leeds United.

All fixtures and kick-off times are subject to change due to the broadcast companies' picks as well as moving for Champions League and domestic cup matches as well as any unforeseen postponements.
