A hockey team is set to embark on a fundraiser to support a hospital which is treating the young son of one of their members.

Max Kirk, two, is currently undergoing extensive treatment for rare cancer Bilateral Wilms Tumours.

Max, from Tarvin, was diagnosed with the devastating illness on his second birthday in December 2021, Cheshire Live reports.
