A snack-loving toddler has gone viral after her mum caught her raiding the kitchen cupboards. Little Winter Atherton loves nothing more than a tasty treat after a long day at nursery - even if she has to help herself.
Mum Rachel Thompson, who lives in with her one-year-old daughter and partner Lewis Atherton in Fenton, could hear the youngster 'rustling' in the kitchen and decided to get her camera out. The tot then happily strutted back into the living room carrying multiple bags of crisps and chocolate in her hands and mouth.
After sharing the hilarious clip to Tik Tok, Rachel's post quickly went viral, garnering 1.7 million views and 152,000 likes. The video also has also gained more than 1,300 comments since it was uploaded last Monday (October 3).
The 22-year-old parents told Stoke-on-Trent Live : "We were laughing at her because she always goes into the snack cupboard. I got my camera out because she was coming in from the kitchen and I could hear rustling.
"Her hands were that full, she dropped the chocolate bar on the floor in front of me and I couldn’t stop laughing. I picked it up and gave it back to her back and she took it off me like it had never happened.
"As soon as she comes home from nursery she raids the snack cupboard, bringing anything she could find to us. My sister-in-law was around and was teasing me saying 'It's alright, you’re not getting famous yet'.
"I went to sleep and when I woke up it just kept going, my phone was just going off. It literally just blew up overnight.
"I was just shocked and gobsmacked. I didn’t believe it at all."
