Toronto at Boston: Celtics an extinction-level event for Raptors, win 121-102

The Boston Celtics took the floor of their penultimate game of the 2022-23 NBA season against the Toronto Raptors like a ball club with a chip on their shoulder in a game no one would have blinked if they went through the motions to preserve themselves for the playoffs.

Never leading by more than 2 points, Toronto looked like a team that knows big changes are not far off, while the Celtics appeared to be a ball club revving up for a deep postseason run. Big games from Sam Hauser (a career-high 26 points and 5 rebounds), Payton Pritchard (22 points, 5 assists as a reserve), Jayson Tatum (21 points in just 20 minutes of floor time), and Mike Muscala (11 points, 7 boards off of the bench) took care of business when it was needed.
