Welsh composer sets record straight
Sir Karl Jenkins turned heads at the King’s coronation after people thought he was Meghan Markle in disguise.
He then made a TikTok explaining there was “nothing sinister” about his attendance, disproving outlandish theories and explaining he attended because he had written music for the service.

There a sinister moment during the coronation: At one point during the service it appeared as though the grim reaper walked outside Westminster Abbey.
The grim reaper was actually a verger, one of the abbey community who is not part of the clergy. But the footage is still pretty eerie.

The live-action Little Mermaid is set to come out later this month. At the premier, Halle Bailey, who is playing Ariel in the new movie, was embraced by Jodi Benson.

Taylor Swift performed into the early hours of the morning one night in Nashville while on The Eras Tour.
The show was delayed due to a storm but the rain didn’t stop when she took the stage and the footage from the concert is pretty incredible. Apparently, Swift has only ever cancelled one show during her career.

A real-life superhero met Pope Francis this week. Mattia Villardita reportedly dresses in costume and visits children’s hospitals in Italy.
He greeted the Pope dressed as Spiderman and the two shook hands and had a brief discussion in Vatican City.

A Tien Shan bear named Chada, a resident at the White Rock Bear Shelter in Ukraine, emerged from a sleep in the most relatable way possible.
