For the third straight year, the Chargers had a late lead at home against the Chiefs and could not finish.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to Los Angeles’ loss:
the chargers should be forced to put kelce in their ring of honor

Staley not going for it on clear "go for it" 4th downs by most analytical models is one of the big stories of the Chargers' 2022 season.
The reason they went for it last year was not being able to trust the D.
Well… Chargers were 23rd in defense in 2021. They're 25th in 2022.

Another crushing loss. It’s hard to be a Chargers fan. It hurts.

I'm over the Brandon Staley experience, and everything that comes with it.
I can't believe I watched that offense every week and hated the defensive coordinator more.
Chargers score 38, they'd give up 41. Wouldn't matter.
Time to go.

Lastly, for all those leaning on the injury excuse. The Chiefs just beat us with NOTHING at the WR position due to injuries. They had ONE threat in the passing game & the Chargers STILL couldn't stop it.
Stop the lying to yourselves.
IT'S BIGGER THAN THAT.

Herbert getting hate for not scoring in 31 seconds after he literally saved the game with a perfect throw to Keenan Allen is what's wrong with NFL twitter. Chiefs won that, Chargers did everything they could

A bad year? This year? Sure.. inuries… ok.
Whats the excuse for most of the past 12 years in which you had a franchise QB in all of?
One 12-4 season
Four 9-7 seasons
the rest losing..
2 playoff appearancesI'll tell you what the exuses are…. EXCUSES

Rivers. Herbert. San Diego. Los Angeles. The names change, but every Chargers game is the same.

Went to the game in person and when the Chargers scored w a minute and a half left there were two types of Chargers fans: ones cheering because they were winning, and ones who knew what was about to happen.

This is what happens when you hire a teenager to coach your NFL team. #Chargers

Don't worry Chargers, Sean Payton is on the way.
