Mexican authorities confirmed on Tuesday the detention of Mario Alfredo Lindoro Navidad, a close associate and relative of Archivaldo Ivan Guzman Salazar, one of the sons of Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman who has still managed to evade capture, according to a new report. Mario Lindoro Elenes, Guzman Salazar's father-in-law, was also detained.
Police seized drugs, firearms and cash in the operation, which took place in Jalisco, according to Infobae.
