We all know how much of a chore it is to sit and scroll through pages and pages of beautiful dresses, only to get bored and close the tab. But don’t worry - I’ve done the hard work for you and pulled together the top picks from the best-loved brands, so you can sit back, enjoy your weekend, and wait for your new outfit to arrive in the post.
Nobody’s Child, River Island, New Look and ASOS have all launched huge deals and discounts on their dresses, with some priced as little as £7.

To keep this nice and budget friendly, all of the dresses we’ve picked out are under £25. There’s a great mix of styles, from floaty midi dresses to night-out ready mini numbers, as well as pieces that will see you through the remainder of summer and well into winter.
So here are our top sale picks for you to treat yourself to this payday.
Nobody’s Child
The Nobody's Child sale has arrived, and there’s dresses loved by Holly Willpughby selling for just £12. There’s up to 60 per cent off, so you can snap up your favourite dresses, tops, loungewear and more before they go, and FYI, we don’t think they’ll hang around for long.
ITV’s This Morning co-host Holly has been spotted in the Tessie Mini Shirt Dress , which is now better than half price at £12, having been £42, saving £30. It’s out of stock in sizes 12 and 18, but has good availability in other dress sizes. There’s even a strawberry patterned version of the cute mini dress, which is also down to £12 - a total steal.
Another summery piece perfect for a last minute getaway before the end of summer is the Serena mini dress . This comes in 11 different colours and patterns, with some prints starting at £15 . Available in sizes 6 to 24, this ‘flirty and fun’ number features long sleeves in a vibrant floral pattern, with ruffles that give it an ultra-feminine edge that's perfect for every occasion.

New Look shoppers have been going wild for the sale, with many of their dresses only available in a handful of sizes. However, you can update your wardrobe and bag yourself a bargain in the sale, with prices from as little as £4.50.
Whether you're keeping it casual or getting glammed up, there’s always something for everyone at New Look, from trusty LBDs to printed midis. Here are our top picks to ‘add to basket’ while saving some money.
This leopard print satin midi dress comes in three colours - white, green and blue - and is priced between £20 and £22 depending on which one takes your fancy. Between them, there’s a decent size range available, and we all know a wrap dress flatters everyone’s shape. With a v-neckline and fit-and-flare design, this silky number will see you all through summer and into winter, too.
If you missed out on that Instagram-viral dress from Tu at Sainsbury’s , this VILA Pink Collared Tiered Midi Dress is a great alternative. Down from £38 to £19, it has the most incredible puff sleeves, which are so on trend this year.
Coming in green and a neutral tone, this gingham midi is the picnic dress of dreams. It’s only £18 and has a square neckline with thick frill straps and a shirred bodice that’s extremely flattering.

But if a mini dress is more your style this Black Floral Cut Out Long Sleeve Mini Dress is down from £33.99 to £20, and is in stock in sizes eight to 16.

River Island
River Island currently have 25 per cent off dresses online, and their collection is very ‘cool girl chic’. There are options from as little as £17.25, and it provides a great opportunity to build a capsule wardrobe or simply add some basics into your collection.
We love the cut out mini bodycon dress , which is a ribbed knic, high neck, sleeveless mini dress that’s great for this summer-autumn transitional period. It has a cut out back, and comes in cream, black, beige and khaki. Only the cream is in the sale, coming in at under £20, and it would look so good with chunky sandals.
Then there’s the ribbed wrap mini dress, coming in black, white, khaki and lilac. Some colours are down from £28 to £21 in the sale, with good size availability. The dress is in a ribbed knit with a wrap design and tie waist fastening, with a frill detailing on the sleeves to make it a little more interesting, too.
Shoppers will love this beige spot wrap dress, costing £22.50. The simple neutral dress has a tie at the waist that offers a more shapely silhouette, and would look great styled with gold jewellery and some biker boots.
Festival season isn’t over just yet, and this satin mini dress in a wavy design would be perfect for Reading and Leeds this weekend, or Happy Place - Fearne Cotton’s festival - at Tatton Park next weekend. It’s currently down from £32 to £24, and available in sizes 6 to 16.
