Deve Gowda, former Prime Minister of India, and S. Somanath, Secretary, Department of Space, and Chairman, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), will be awarded honorary doctorates. Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, who is also the Chancellor of Bangalore University, will preside over the event that will be held in Jnana Jyothi Auditorium, Central College campus.
