We’re now six games into the Golden State Warriors losing streak. A November 18 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder extended the team’s poor run despite a big night from Andrew Wiggins, and Steph Curry‘s return to the rotation. However, Klay Thompson is still working through whatever issues he’s currently navigating.
There is a general concern surrounding the team at the moment that can only be rectified by an upturn in production from across the roster. Golden State’s next chance of turning their season around will come on Monday (Nov. 20.) They will face Ime Udoka’s impressive Houston Rockets team. However, the Warriors will hope their experience gives them an advantage that their young counterparts fail to overcome.
Still, before we look too far ahead, it makes sense to cast an eye over the loss to Oklahoma to see which players performed well in their roles. Here are the Warriors’ top three statistical performers from their most recent loss.
Andrew Wiggins
Statline: 31 points, 3 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 12-of-16 FG, 5-of-8 3PT
Stephen Curry
Statline: 25 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 8-of-21 FG, 5-of-11 3PT.
Kevon Looney
Statline: 6 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 block, 3-of-6 FG
