The picturesque seaside town of Prestatyn in Denbighshire has emerged as the UK's top trending destination for Easter holidays, according to new research from Airbnb.

The platform has unveiled the top staycation hotspots seeing the biggest rise in searches from Brits for April holidays.

Wales reigned supreme in the new rankings; not only did Prestatyn take the top spot, but Carmarthen and Merthyr Tydfil also made the top 10 round-up.
